A new pilgrim route from Culross Abbey to Glasgow Cathedral inaugurated in the 850th anniversary year of Glasgow being granted the status of a Bishop’s burgh.                                            

Join Rev Dr Grant Barclay, Presbytery Clerk, Church of Scotland Glasgow Presbytery at 8.30 am on Thursday 11th September at Culross Abbey as he leads the Pilgrim Route connecting Mungo’s birthplace with a major seat of his ministry and the place of his death, traversing the Forth and continuing through Scotland’s historical industrial heartland, largely following the Union and Forth and Clyde canals. 

There will be opportunities for reflection and prayer.

We would hope that you will join us as we pass through your parishes and communities for a short part of the way.

The walk will end with a Prayer Service in

Glasgow Cathedral at 4pm on Sunday 14th September All Welcome
