Rev Dave Sutherland is the new Minister of Hillington Park Church of Scotland in Cardonald.

Before entering the ministry Dave served as a Police Officer in Tayside for 30 years. A graduate of St Andrews University, he was a probationer at Balshagray Victoria Park Church before serving at churches in Dumfries and Stevenson. Dave in married to Maureen and his main hobby is keeping an aquarium of tropical fish.    

Dave said, "I am excited about journeying with God's people at Hillington Park Church, discerning God's call for us all, and listening for God's word and exploring what we're going to do about it.

“The church family are already involved in God's mission and have developed a structure through Natural Church Development which enables elders to utilise their gifts and talents well within the governance of the church.  This year will be very much about walking with each other and God to discern vision and mission."
